1. Introduction

This document describes the status of compliance with respect to the accessibility obligations of the fonderialesa.it website, in compliance with the Italian legislation (Law No. 4/2004 “Stanca” and its implementing decrees) and/or the European regulation/guidelines WCAG 2.1 (or later).
The goal is to ensure that the site is usable by all users, including people with disabilities (visual, hearing, motor, cognitive), and that necessary improvement measures are considered.

2. Scope of application.

This document covers the main site accessible at https://fonderialesa.it/ (all publicly accessible pages).
They are not the subject of this document:

  • Any integrated external services not directly controlled (e.g., external widgets, social plugins)

  • Downloadable documents in non-accessible format (if flagged and being adjusted)

  • any restricted or login-protected sections (if any)-if these exist, they should be evaluated separately.

3. Declaration of compliance.

The LE-SA Foundry declares that the site largely follows the technical criteria established by the international guidelines WCAG 2.1 (level AA) and the obligations of the Italian accessibility legislation.
However, there are some elements that require improvement actions (described in paragraph 6).
The declaration is updated as of the date of writing of this document.

4. Methods of verification

The following steps were taken to assess the accessibility of the site:

  • manual analysis of main pages

  • Use of automated tools (HTML validators, color contrast checks, screen readers)

  • Testing with different browsers and devices (desktop, tablet, smartphone)

  • Checking semantic structure (heading tags, lists, links, alt images)

  • Control of keyboard navigability and mouse-less interaction

  • Examination of downloadable content (PDFs, documents) and interactive features.

5. Responsibilities and contacts

Users are encouraged to report any accessibility problems they encounter while browsing.

6. Strengths and areas for improvement

6.1 Strengths

  • The site uses a clear structure with visible and consistent navigation menus.

  • Main images have attributes alt (when applicable) and sections are divided with appropriate titles.

  • There is a “responsive” version for mobile devices, contributing to accessibility on various devices.

  • The site provides contact information and alternative modes of communication (telephone, e-mail).

6.2 Areas for improvement/non-conformity

  • Some decorative images may not have attribute alt="" and may be recognized as active content by assistive technologies.

  • The color contrast between text and background in some sections (e.g., gray text on light backgrounds) should be checked and, if necessary, improved to meet the minimum 4.5:1 ratio (AA level) or 3:1 for large text.

  • Some downloadable documents or linked PDFs may not be fully accessible (e.g., absence of PDF tags, semantic structure, alt text for images in PDF).

  • Some interactive features (e.g., contact forms) must ensure that they are fully keyboard usable and have appropriate ARIA labels/accessibility.

  • Ensure that all links have descriptive text (e.g., avoid “click here”) and are clear even without visual context.

  • If non-optional animations or videos are present, check that they are handled in an accessible way (e.g., subtitles, audio description, on/off control).

  • If there are popups or modal forms, make sure the focus is handled correctly for keyboard and screen reader users.

7. Actions and timeframe for compliance
